The KJV of the Holy Bible is arduous. It is quite hard to read and grasp the meaning of the words. I leaped at the chance to read and review this copy of The Simplified KJV [King James Version] of the Holy Bible.

The Simplified KJV is easy to read and understand, especially since the original KJV was first published in 1611. As you can imagine, everyone talks and probably thinks differently than Christians did in 1611. KJV has always been the "GoTo" Bible, but I have always aimed for a NAS [New American Standard] or NIV [New International Version].

This Holy Bible has wider outside margins for notes or Bible Doodling. I'm not quite sure how to utilize this aspect of this book, I feel funny drawing or excessively marking up one of my bibles, but I have decided to make The Simplified KJV [Wildflower Medley] be our family's Holy Bible. There are a couple of blank yellow pages at the beginning and the ending for family history, namely our family's Births, Marriages, and Deaths. Since it is a hardcover book, it will be able to stand the test of time to be handed down through the generations.

Available in Wildflower Medley, and Pewter Branch cloth over boards. These beautiful First editions were released on 1 May 2022. Each Bible has a lovely ribbon marker. There is a presentation page at the beginning, for it to be given as a gift. The words of Jesus Christ are printed in red ink. Each Book of the Bible has a title page, that lists INTRODUCTION TO [about], AUTHOR [who], OCCASION [why it was written].

There is an index at the beginning, separation of the books of the Bible, Old Testament, and New Testament. It has an amazing SKJV Revision Process, so you can see exactly what the 1611 word that was used, and the 2022 word that Barbour Publishing used in its place. There is a dictionary/concordance to help you with your studies, and also full-color maps to help you get a feel for the locations where things happened in the bible.

I highly recommend it, if you are a Christian, a new believer, a non-believer, or simply curious, this Simplified KJV Holy Bible is for you. Anyone can use this copy, easily.

There are many people who want to remain loyal to the King James Bible but often find it hard to understand. Now there is a new version that is a perfect solution! The Simplified KJV has the original translation found in the 1611 King James Bible, but some of the verbs and punctuation have been changed to aid in our understanding. I especially like that the pronouns for God are capitalized to show reverence and clarity, the words of Christ are printed in red, the font is easy-to-read, and there are wide margins for notes. Throw in several pages of colored maps, a Revision guide that shows the changes that have been made, and a comprehensive Dictionary/Concordance, and you have a fantastic resource!
