I've read the other Lizbeth Salander books, so Girl who kicked the Hornet's nest will be next. My book club read The Help, but I couldn't bring myself to do it, even though they all claimed to love it. I'm embarrassed to say I found Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang at my library's book sale, and haven't gotten around to reading it yet. (Embarrassed that it's in my possession, not that I haven't read it)

I liked Are You There Vodka? so I read My Horizontal Life which had a couple of guffaws but was mostly dreary, so I have decided to get Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang only when it comes out in paper, unless it is remaindered and available at the same time. I think perhaps you are lucky to get it at a sale.

I did read The Help and did like, and it's the only book of the 30 listed that have read (or even intend to read). My wife has read "The girl who kicked the hornet's nest" and generally reads Janet Evanovich's books.

My book club read The Help, though I did not. The whole club is going to see the movie when it comes out, so maybe I'd better finish it by then.

Oh, my, I see I've read quite a few on the lists: Hornets' Nest, The Help, Sizzling Sixteen, Dead in the Family and Sh*t My Dad Says. I really enjoyed The Help, more so as I got further into it. I have not seen the film yet partly because I'm not much of a filmgoer and partly (the bigger part) because I am always so disappointed by film adaptations of books I love.
