The whodunit with the actress

I liked this mystery very much, so much so that I was up until after 1:00 am to finish it.

Madeira (Mad or Maddie) owns a vintage clothing shoppe in Mystic Falls, CT Mad Magic, which once was a funeral parlor....complete with the ghost of the former owner.

Maddie is also psychometric (a psychic who gets their information by touching objects owned by others) gleaning information from clothing worn by other people.

The book begins with a note wrapped in a sea-foam blue dress that Maddie designed for her actress friend Dominique..... "Mad Sweetie, I always wanted you to have this. I hoped someday to give it to you in person. If you have it, and not from my hand, I am dead. I wanted to get it to you before it was too late. At any rate 'Tag. You're it. Run, do not walk to the nearest exit.' Use your talents wisely. Love, Dom"

Maddie sets out to New York in order to solve Dom's murder and uncovers another while she is there.......

The only thing I really didn't like about this book was Maddie's best friend Eve....she's too snarky for my taste....she's Always nasty about Maddie's boyfriend and considering Eve's always on the make, it would be nice for her to less of a Bitch. ( )
