The book title ' I din't expect to be expecting ' is quite thinkable and mysterious.

Book Cover:
The book cover is a photograph of a couple sleeping on bed covered with a comforter with a surprising look on their faces as if something unexpected has happened.

Plot:
The story is about Tara, who is expecting a baby and all the emotional drama and mood swings that a woman generally goes through is the main crux of the story. The other characters like Abhi, Tara's mate and many others takes the reader on a funny and humor ride. Normal human emotions of love, friendship, jealousy and pride are predominantly found in the story.

What I like:
1.Few funny sequences
2. The general problems that women undergo mentally and physically during the weeks of pregnancy are explained in a nice and realistic manner.

What I didn't like:
1. The story looks like a daily routine or personal diary
2. Disconnect in the story due to many characters and lots of talking of the characters
3. Too much usage of a regional language keeps the reader's interest off
Narration:
A good attempt in narrating the lifelike experiences.

Characters:
Other than the main characters, other too many characters created lot of confusion and disjoint with the story.

Language & Grammar:
Easy language and good vocabulary is used.
My Verdict:
An OK read for killing time.
