I truly love short story collections, they are perfect for quick reading sessions! I now have a new addition to my favorite authors of shorts, Haidji writes great short stories! Her stories are not only entertaining, they convey messages as well. This will not be my only collection by her! ( )

Harables: Short stories 2 is a literary treat...Haidji's writing is thought-provoking, reflective and there is a beautiful message conveyed in each of the stories. What I really appreciate is that the language chosen is simple and her writing style is infused with a meditative feel. I will recommend it if you are looking for some relaxing breezy reads to calm your mind. ( )

Review: This book contains 13 short stories and 2 poems and every story has a certain message with it. Author have used hypothetical examples via stories and given us some beautiful examples and lessons of life via stories, the message are as follows.
Like our destination is fixed whether we reach early or late doesn't matter, respect your work then only others will do, dream of having life candle, we can only give our present time to someone, one must not stop dreaming, what ever the circumstances are, being innovative is good for business and being dynamic open to new things help us grow, being different from people is a quality, and it has to be there one must passionate about there working, moving on is quality like a pine tree dream to celebrate Christmas like humans, everyone has a problem how they deal with it is the question we need to find it. Not everyone is soul relative but relationship can be soulful all the time, one must fulfill dreams they want , for there happiness, everyone has a different perspective of seeing things at different stages of life . These are message that stories contain in it

Inspired from the story of pipo the bird Author gave message that we can only give our present time to someone who is in need and no matter what may goes right or wrong in that time but we must gave our present time to someone.

Never stop dreaming is what author wants to say through lob's castle as he shown it through kids story who are making castle over dead lobster who died because of the oil spills that happens near the beach.

A juice company owner was in search of new idea but due to his incompetive secretary who works for 8 hours only and want perks for holidays too rejecting letter without him knowing but time came when things go tough and he met a guy in street when things unfolds before him, he hired him as a product developer later make him partner, and now run a successful juice company and provide scholarships for young students.

A girl who belongs to renounce family in the town and parents are lawyers and she feel confused with her career choice first she started practicing law later she found her interest in cooking but that would be black spot on parents reputation according to them which end up with clashes in between but she manage it well become chef of her restaurant and now husband wife both following there passion and working with heart.

A pine tree who want to enjoy Christmas like humans in home..he have seen it all in his life and enjoying his journey as tree. Message is that everyone want to move in life, but being station at one place it's there chain of responsibility they have to be there for it.

A neurological ailing girl was helped by her friends without let her knowing that they knew it and don't want to embrass her and everyone has problem but to have a different outlook of situation and thoughts make us. And here author compare different flowers with humans character from being delicate to sweet smell of poisonous flowers.

Story of soul world where 2 souls decide to be siblings by the same pair of stars as parent's everyone try to separate them but they flee everytime and meet each other, message is that we don't choose relationship , it chooses us sometimes before birth, sometimes in life but it's not important that everyone you meet is your soul relative.

A girl want to gondola walker , how to become is shown by her new Friends as they walk so that city of Venice can sleep. She fulfill her dreams and

A girl who enjoys her childhood in her neighbour garden with her coffee, one day left later return when she was 18 before leaving for her university abroad she came there and see the situation of garden , ones what paradise to her was now only a weed garden and broken glass house but when she see the making of coffee by neighbour she fall in love with the place.

It’s refreshing to read something so beautiful and warm like this book. It has an ethereal, light feel that makes is a very pleasant read. Each story comes with some good spiritual messages like:
“Some people do not care about taking all the short cuts they need, to arrive at their destinations as quickly as they can – even if they destroy other people’s paths in doing so.”…or another one: “To give your present time to someone you love and care about is never a waste of time, because you are giving your most precious gift, wrapped in all the love you feel.”
My personal favourite stories are Final Destination (I so wanted to read a continuation of this one), and Pipo.
At times some of the messages seemed to sound a little bit overexplaining. Personally, I would have gotten the message from the stories anyways. However it’s not a big problem. Overall I really liked the book and hope to read more of this author’s works in the future. We need such beautifully written spiritual books. ( )

I enjoyed reading this book. Each short story had a memorable lesson and some of them I could really relate to. ( )
