Absolutetly wonderful book. Would recomend to anyone. Book pulls you into an amazing world and can keep you there for hours. Wonderful characters great story line. An absolute must read for YA lovers! ( )

Picking up from the last book in the series, the magical world of Artime has dissapeared as a result of its creator, Marcus Today's death. The green lawns, mansion, and creatures of Artime are gone, leaving its unlikely new leader, Alex Stowe, in charge of a small civilization. After weeks of starvation and unrest, Alex finally cracks the code that his mentor left for him. With his new knowledge, he brings Artime back. He then sets out to rescue two of his friends from a hostile island. They had been captured in the last book, and crew in hand, the mission begins. The rescue is successful. They also discover a strange island that sinks underwater, then it comes back up later in the day. This becomes the focus of the next book.

What I enjoyed about this book is that while it has always had a large dystopian aspect, it still retains a sense of mystery . Combine this with magic and fantasy, and you have a great book. I also like the change throughout the iterations. Each one has a different subject and focus, which is a very refreshing trait. ( )
