- Mostly English and Hebrew, with some French, German and Yiddish books. Subjects: history, theology, linguistics, literary criticism, essays, literature (mostly English), art, music, dance, theatre, biographies, murder (mostly British), ethnography, poetry, gardening, archeology (mainly middle east), anything about China
- About Me
- Retired from paid employment at many different occupations. I read anything in print or handwriting: books, magazines, newspapapers, advertisements, labels, graffiti: seeing is reading. No TV, but I have a piano that I try to play. Part-time volunteer work at the Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People. Love to travel (mostly solo). Photo was taken March 2008 at Lake Eyasi, Tanzania. I live alone, no pets, except as visitors when their owners go abroad. I have a subscription to the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra concerts. Also attend performances of ethnic music.
