About My Library
We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land the Centre for Stories is located on, the Whadjuk people. We respect their culture and the continuing contribution they make to the life of this city and this region.

Visitors to the The Centre for Stories will know that it's home to a beautifully presented library of over 3,000 volumes. Generous donations seeded and subsequently grew this collection, and it is pleasing to see how it has come to reflect and inform the wonderful diversity and energy in our community. About Me
Founded in 2015 by John and Caroline Wood, the Centre for Stories is a vibrant, inclusive literary arts and cultural organisation. We use storytelling to inspire social cohesion and improve understanding of diverse communities. We matter because stories matter; and stories matter because people matter.
