Wu in this book takes readers on a ride through the special world of the Coral Reef and highlights the author's firsthand diving experiences. Full-Color underwater photographs are sure to catch the attention of one reader at a time but they are kind of small with sometimes 4 or more to a page so crowd reading I think you would lose kids. He uses experience to sort out the various animals that populate the territory of the reef and builds it all around a sea turtle who is working his way to the sand to lay eggs. I think the facts are cool, it wasn't my favorite to learn about the reef though.

This book is all bout the sea. The coral reefs, the sand and the other different parts of the sea. There are many projects that can come out of this book. I would love this for 2-4 grades.

A picture book full of different fish with different faces

An aquarium full of photographs of fish! The language sometimes rhymed, sometimes not. The pictures were bright, layered, and at times crowded, and the text was hard to read on top of the photos. Other than this, a good book before or after a trip to the real aquarium.

I think this a simple but wonderful book. Many children do not see all of the fish in the ocean and this book does a great job of showing what many different typed of fish look like. Even the not so pretty ones.

this is a cute book with great live pictures from the sea. It is a rhyming book about differenty types of fish. would be great for a kindergarten class.
