I thought this book was going to be more like Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, a bunch of quick tips and advice, but for parents instead of just general life. It did have some of that, but most of it was about how to Meditate sometimes using obscure words and references that, for someone with no experience with Buddhism, are quite confusing.

But it wasn't completely bad. The few parenting tips that are in there are good. The one that is repeated most often is " When life gets stressful, stop, take a breath and then continue on. "
