It is unclear what the focus of this book is. At first glance, it appears to be about the Ryans and their dogs. At closer look, though, the focus seems to center on the home. Some sections combine these two areas to show how to make the home pet-friendly; others jump from one area to the next in a disorganized fashion. Tips are useful, but they are so buried in jumble that the reader may give up before getting to the jewel.½
