K. D. Plum

I love the illustrations in this book. The colors are so bright and engaging. I liked how the colors started out as warm colors to represent the sun setting, and then transitioned to cool colors to represent the night fall. I also like how the pages are cut outs of the pictures. I noticed that the pages are small and get bigger until the middle of the story when they start to get smaller again. I feel like the bigger pages represent the big city. The story is written like a poem about a bird flying far away back to its home in the country.… (lisätietoja)
