Richard L. Phillips, BA, is an experienced correctional manager who has worked in juvenile and adult corrections at both the state and federal levels. His 30 years of correctional experience includes field management assignments in minimum, medium, and high security felony facilities as well as in näytä lisää an urban detention setting, an agency regional office, and a headquarters administrative post. He is a private correctional consultant. He has served as an accreditation auditor for the American Correctional Association (ACA), chaired or been a member of several ACA committees, and is an author or contributing editor of various correctional publications for ACA and other correctional organizations. McConnell, BS, MBA, has been an industrial engineer, management consultant and educator, and human resource executive in a variety of settings, including manufacturing, trade associations, and health care. He is the author of 8 previous books and nearly 170 articles, and is the editor of 6 collections and a quarterly professional journal.
