I enjoyed this story. I liked the faith that Maggie had that Mama would find her. Mama had to search, and I liked that the search was shown. The illustrations are beautifully done. Your toddler will like Maggie.

Little Maggie Mouse is out in the prairie. She wanders away from her mother. Her mother tells her she will find her. After a while her mom locates her. This wonderful story about staying put when you are lost is told in wonderful rhyme and is simple enough for the youngest child.

Maggie Mouse is playing with her baby sister while her mom bakes a pie. While trying to hide from her sister under a table she knocks over a frame. The frame breaks. She knows she should tell what truly happened but she is afraid she will get in trouble. What will happen when she decides to do the wrong thing and tell a lie?

When Maggie Mouse goes exploring she gets lost in a flower patch. Her mom looks high and low for her. She finally finds her in a flower patch because she remembered she needed to sit still.
