We picked up this little guide on a trip to Scotland, and it fit our needs perfectly. Each entry is only a few pages, and there are many pictures, so you can find out all you need to know about a sight on your way. There are also occasional boxes with colorful background that will enhance your experience, like ones on Bagpipes, Burns Night, and the Tay Bridge Disaster. While we did have a guide, this little gem added to our experience quite a bit. Highly recommended!
