I'm extremely confused by how high the ratings for this book are. Reading this felt a lot like being in a high school English class and having to peer edit your classmate's really poorly written creative essay. I love anything that comments on parasocial relationships and the negative effects of social media but this book continually spoon feeds you the most surface level messages about the topic for 112 pages. With how incredibly cliché and predictable the plot is, I don't even know that I would consider this worthy of just being a mindless, fast paced, unserious read.… (lisätietoja)

Mystery lovers this short novella is for you! Ashley learns from one of her neighbors about a 30 year old cold case that happened in their neighborhood. It involved a missing mother and daughter. Well Ashley had a strange intuition about this and had to gather more details. She spoke to the neighborhood gossip and found out that she thought the mother and child had been murdered!
Ashley soon gets threatening letters, telling her to mind her own business.
Being acutely aware Ashley and the other two ladies try to play detective to figure out what really happened to the mother and child.

Mixed with a little romance, this thriller/mystery had a nice surprise twist at the end.
Definitely worth the one sit read and it’s also a perfect way to sneak an extra book to reach your year end reading goals!! I only wish that it would’ve been longer.… (lisätietoja)

TWO SCOOPS was such a cute summer beach read! Jennifer is in her mid-thirties and has just left a bad marriage. She’s doing her best in her Florida gulf coast tourist town, running an ice cream shop, except with the red tide bloom, business isn’t exactly doing well this summer. Ryan, the local lifeguard, and Jenn’s crush, stops by her ice cream shop every day and has been secretly leaving love notes. He’s also been out of work and struggling with self-esteem issues. They work together to sell ice cream and have some sweet summery moments as Jenn develops new ice cream flavors and tries to save her ice cream stand. This was really cute!… (lisätietoja)
