This is not exactly a review but I have some comments on Hydatius' Chronicle on my blog: http://medievalhistorygeek.wordpress.com/2011/11/05/hydatius-and-the-end-of-the-.... I should note that Burgess provides a tremendous amount of detail regarding how he developed this translation as well as the manuscript traditions of these two texts.
