- George Brokaw was born in Princeton, Illinois, and attended schools there. Then he studied, for the ministry, and became the pastor of the Christian Church, in Roseville, Ill.
Brokaw had his head-quarters in Des Moines, and, from there he filled appointments throughout the state. Was an evangelist, and the founder of numerous Christian Churches, and established the Christian Union, there, in Des Moines, Iowa.
