A great story with real events from history; I'm looking forward to the rest of the trilogy. ( ) Because I loved "The Blood Red Horse," etc., I was looking forward to the "Blue Flame." However, I didn't even finish this book. It's too bad, because the historical period is interesting and the main characters are compelling YA characters. The major flaw of this book is that the "Blue Flame" is a character that interjects thoughts and feelings in the first person into the third person narrative book. These are not set off in the text in any way, but sometimes appear within a third person paragraph. I find this jarring and confusing, and I am a relatively sophisticated reader. ei arvosteluja | lisää arvostelu
