This book is a fabulous overview of our planet's history before we arrived. The drawings and photographs are lovely. The book covers the changing animal life as well as changes in geology. I found it very easy to understand, but I come at it from a geology background. This is a helpful addition to any library whose owner is looking to gain a better grasp of the history that we share with every other life form on earth. (
