This is the third volume in a trilogy but can be read as a standalone novel as Lemaitre is brilliant at creating small stories that draw the reader in. All the key characters are linked somehow and the journey towards the end is a wonderful tale. I love the human aspect of Lemaitre's writing, the translation is fantastic. ( )
J'ai bien aimé le style du livre, mais l'histoire est extrêmement évidente et presque dès le départ, on se doute grandement de la suite... Pour moi, ce roman manquait de subtilité. ( )
tercero de la trilogía de los hijos del desastre, la finaliza con un tono de tristeza pero envuelta en una serenidad y comedia que le da un giro esperanzador a la historia luego de las tragedias de los tomos anteriores,muy buena. Mientras Francia se desintegra distintos personajes interactúan y cada uno es una tonada diferente, para terminar encontrándose al final como una partitura barroca donde confluyen todos los instrumentos, ( )
