She returns home to her beautiful village with her smart, affectionate donkey, Good Omen. She is disturbed and upset by the destruction wrough on her neighbors' homes

She makes friends with the Iraqui soldiers posted there, and becomes a respected 'mother' to them. She devotes her time to repairing these lovely properties, bringing life back to the trees, flowers
with help from the river and her soldier friends.
