I’m still really enjoying this series, even if this book took a bit of a left turn at one point. I’m sort of wondering when we’ll get back to Raven’s main quest, but this has a strong Odyssey but for women vibe to it, so I’m good.

Plus the series keeps getting gayer, which I’m here for. ( )

Ahhh... okay, okay, I'm cool. I was so looking forward to this TPB and by george it did not let me down. It actually surpassed my expectations.

Whew, there was so much going on. There are two main stories. Sunshine's adventure on an island of all women (my favorite kind) that's hidden from the world. And Raven's story, she's still on the ship.

Sunshine is trying to figure out who she is after all that went on before she went overboard. Then she meets Ananda on the island and her world gets flipped on its head more than once actually.

On the ship there are some really nice Ximena/Raven stuff and then they have some big troubles too. It's delightful drama.

There are some other subplots too, and some more pair ups here and there which were really cool too. So many women, so little time (or too few pages, heh).

And *snort* some of the lines like Katie saying "Well, if it's good for morale" Those were an awesome couple of panels. Or when Ximena says "Well that is not my practice boob Raven!" Heh.

Overall I just really liked the book. It was touching, funny, and oh so damn lgbtq+/queer.

Oh, and I cannot wait to see more. (Phew that we get a bit more of this crew/story). ( )
