A very cute kids book that made me laugh several times. It also interacts with its reader and reminded me of one of my favorites as a kid- There’s a Monster at the End of this Book. The color scheme is also wonderful and the varying sizes and placements of the font interacts with the reader as well. Not to mention, Darth Vader is such a well known character for kids, it would be even easier for this book to gain interest. If you really want to delve a bit deeper, the message that fear doesn’t always come from the expected places, but can come from something like loss of control or power in a situation, is also a nice realistic touch for the age group being targeted. ( )
