I went into this book with very high hopes, as I have loved other books by B.A. Paris that I have read. I have to admit that I was a little underwhelmed by this one. It starts our very strong, with getting to know the characters and their story. The storyline was good, however, I found that it dragged just a little too long. As in previous books, I was hoping for and counting on the blow your mind twist at the end. Unfortunately, it just didn't hold up for me. Yes, there was a twist all right that I didn't see coming, but it dropped the ball where it could have really exploded. (

Bring Me Back A Novel by B. A. Paris is a great read. I have read a few books by this author and tend to devour them all this was no exception. B.A Paris has such a way with words that it made this a quick and fast paced read with awesome twists and turns. The story is about a woman who goes missing and whose husband is a prime suspect. While many compare this to Gone Girl I feel this stands on its own amazingly well without the comparison. British couple Finn and his girlfriend Layla, are on their way home from a skiing trip in France when he pulls into a secluded, dimly lit area late at night to use the restroom. When he returns to the car Layla is nowhere to be found!
Fast forward 12 years and Finn has moved on with his life, in fact he’s now in a relationship with Layla’s sister Ellen, and they’re living happily together in a picturesque Cotswold village. However if you know anything about the way this author writes then you know that happily ever afters do not last long at all. I will say this book gives you curve balls every few chapters , has awesome descriptions and is one of those books you have to tell everyone about. The story is unique and will find new and old fans pleasantly surprised. I loved the idea of Russian Dolls it adds a creepy factor to the story. Thank you to Netgalley and everyone involved in my receiving this arc.

Wow!!!
What a book!! Every chapter is full of twists and turns and just when you think you have it all figured out--- another twist just to prove you wrong!
This is the first book I have read of hers but after reading this one I went straight onto Amazon and ordered both of her other books :-)
That is how good this book really is!
Now I just need to patiently on the postman! :-)
Absolute MUST read for 2018, just make sure you have a whole day free as its impossible to put down once started! (
