SUMMARY/ EVALUATION:
How I picked it: I liked the first book in the series enough to want to read the second, and then this third.
What’s it about? 18-year-Charlotte, is still functioning as the household made in the home of Lincoln Fitzroy, the head of the Ministry of Curiosities. A new intrigue begins when Lady Harcourt’s step-son goes missing. Charlotte continues to struggles with feelings for Mr. Fitzroy, and suspects he is fighting feelings he harbors for her. Meanwhile, the search commences for the missing person, and of course death and ghosts have their roles.
What I thought: I like the developing relationships and depth of the characters in this one too.

Although Beyond the Grave doesn’t focus as much on the supernatural as you would expect, it actually has a legit mystery that isn't super lame! The culprit is a bit predictable, but uncovering the family secrets is still a very sordid, juicy, entertaining affair. There's a lot of will-they-won't-they in the romance department, but what can I say - I enjoyed it. Overall, Beyond the Grave is a solid entry in the series. These books are great if you're looking for some light, fun guilty-pleasure reading. (And the next book comes out in February?! Wow, the author is really churning these out. You won't hear me complaining though!) ( )
