There’s something in me that loves a book like this; some list-loving, argumentative, trivia-obsessed corner of my soul sings when confronted by a lovingly compiled collection of things I really should already know about but don’t.

If you're interested in the horror genre, this is a must have. Horror writers choose the 100 best books in the genre and tell you why they're the best. You may not agree with all of the selections, but that's kind of the point, isn't it? (
