After another devastating beating at the hands of her father, Jessie Thompson leaves Fallbrook at the age of 15. Beaten, pregnant, and alone she is determined to make it on her own. After Dylan left without a word there really isn't anything left for her in Fallbrook so she vowed to never return. She stuck with that until her father died. When she does return and faces the past, her life is changed in ways she never expected.
This is a fabulous story of two people finding their way back to each other and forging a life together regardless of their past. It's wonderfully written and a story you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it. (
