Unholy Storm once again reads different from previous Derrick Storm graphic novels. With an interesting storyline, this graphic does jump between scenes frequently however does so that any confusion that this causes is quickly forgotten due to the intensity of what comes next. The ending does however seemed rushed and leaves the reader wanting more. ( )

Um-- so, I guess this Storm Graphic Novel has Zombies in it-- sorta (and I did like the explanation), and I didn't see that coming.

It starts because a young lady is murdered in New York City. Three weeks later the young woman's father comes to Derrick Storm (apparently he's back to being a PI, although in less swanky digs) for help. Three other girls, also of families, of some repute have been killed as well.

He, of course, eventually contacts Clara Strike for help and that's when the story kicks into high gear as they go to New Orleans and Haiti after the woman's killer.

I really liked the banter between Storm and Clara in this TPB, it was even better than in the previous three books,and overall it's my favorite of the four current Derrick Storm Graphic Novels. ( )
