The Song is a poetic narrative in the tradition of C.S. Lewis's Narnia Chronicles and J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy. In The Song, Miller tells the story of Anthem and Everyman who leave the Great Walled City and travel to Urbis, the city of the Poet King, where followers of the Singer are martyred for their faith. In a poetical fantasy retelling of the Acts of the Apostles, Miller continues on with some characters spreading the love and joy of the Christophanic protagonist of the previous book (The Singer).

This book, like the ones that come before and after it, will probably only appeal to you if you enjoy Christian Fantasy, and poetry. Otherwise, you may find yourself not entirely thrilled with it. (

Disappointing, I couldn't get through it. I think it's the poetry of it. I coulndn't take anymore. (
