While I appreciate the sentiment of the book, the lessons in it are actually harmful, as they instruct kids to kiss and hug their dogs, as well as give them pizza, let them outside when they're barking (without a leash or accompaniment!), and more. Kids who actually follow the instructions in the book could wind up getting nipped or bitten, making their dogs sick, or putting their dogs at risk of injury. ( )

This book was really cute. It is all about keeping your dog busy. The author does a great job with the rhymes, but the cadence changes up frequently and has you tripping over your tongue. ( )
