Lobster, how old's your son? I have just bought the first Charlie Bone to read to mine, but he's only 6 so I was thinking that's too young yet.

26Lobstersurvivor
toukokuu 30, 2010, 2:01 am

my son is 9. Charlie bone isn't very scary. They are very fun. Each book holds it own. If you are reading it to him. you can always skip parts. I do that sometimes when i read to my son. I would suggest you read it first for yourself then judge if your son is old enough.

I've read them out of order. Each book can stand alone, but it also explains things too. I hope you enjoy reading them. The last book. the 8th is out now. I'm debating weather to wait for the library or break down and buy it... sigh.

How I got my name Lobstersurvivor.... When I was a little girl my brother would tell me stories on how he saved my life from the lobsters in the bathroom trying to eat me. He jumped over them and rescued me. well.... He of course denys any knowledge of that story. So one day when he was on the east coast. he did't have a cell phone or email. but his friend was on Live journal every day. I knew If I typed on her page she would give him the message. so I needed a name and decided since I survived the "lobster" attack I would be the Lobstersurvivor. My brother still denies that story but as a good sister. I remember all the things he told me. ;) I hope you enjoyed my story of my name.
