974 and 975 challenge

I've generally lived in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US and have read a bunch about these areas. I wonder how completist I have been.

974 - Northeastern US
974.0 - General Northeastern US Changes in the Land
974.1 - Maine
974.2 - New Hampshire
974.3 - Vermont
974.4 - Massachusetts
974.5 - Rhode Island
974.6 - Connecticut
974.7 - New York The Island at the Center of the World
974.8 - Pennsylvania
974.9 - New Jersey

975 - Southeastern US
975.0 - General Southeastern US
975.1 - Delaware
975.2 - Maryland
975.3 - District of Columbia
975.4 - West Virginia
975.5 - Virginia
975.6 - North Carolina
975.7 - South Carolina
975.8 - Georgia
975.9 - Florida

Hmmm... I would have thought I would have had more in these, but I guess they are classified elsewhere. Or else I haven't included them in my library here. I am pretty surprised about the Maryland classification - especially since I have read a lot about the Maryland portion of Chesapeake Bay. And have a few books about Baltimore history. But... I guess not!

The Perfect Storm by Junger, Sebastian and Tuesday with Morrie are both 974.4. I don't recall either of them mentioning Massachusetts, but they are there. I loved both of them.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt is a classic. I'm going to read it for 976 (Georgia 975.8).

Oh! I read Tuesdays with Morrie a long time ago. I also went to Brandeis, and remember knowing exactly the places that were mentioned - but there were t many - it was really about the area.
