About My Library
When Daddy and I returned home that day, I immediately went to my Remington Noiseless manual typewriter and typed out numbers up to 34. I cut out the numbers and applied them, with tape, to the spines of my little golden books. Thus began my very first "dewey decimal system" library. Now that I have 61 feet of five foot tall bookcases worth of fiction and an entire annex of non-fiction, the true fantasy can come to fruition. With the help of this website, I can have my very own real library.
About Me
When I turned four my Daddy took me to our local public library and had the librarian give me a comprehensive tour of the library. When the tour was completed, I filled out the paperwork for my very own library card and signed my name on the card. I placed my card in the driver's license spot in my wallet and showed it proudly to anyone who would look.
