This is such a good story. If you are an animal lover you will especially love this book. It has so much detail on how to survive many outdoor situations with weather, food, bad guys. If it starts a little slow it sure doesn't stay that way. So much action going on. Although this is a story that is set during the western era, it is mostly a story about the love and devotion between man and beast and the remarkable things they can accomplish when there is trust. It is a story that women love just as much as men, even though it is considered a western. The characters in the story are people you want to know for the most part and the writer makes them come alive on the page. The story is written in the point of view of several of the characters including the main animal character, a giant longhorn bull. The writing style was clever and coming from each characters POV made it so much more interesting.… (lisätietoja)
