Edith L. Tiempo

A good premise for a murder in the sleepy, isolated city of Dumaguete, but too bad Tiempo wasn't able to develop the action to fit a novel. The material is boring to even matter for a short story because there are too many unnecessary details in Felix Acuña's life that have no bearing in the mystery. He's built up as a physics professor but too bad the physics doesn't get used in solving the crime.
