Rebecca Norinne

I love the World of True North that Sarina Bowen has created so I was beyond thrilled to find out that other authors would be writing books set in this world in this new Speakeasy Taproom series. I have never read anything else by Rebecca Norinne and I am now very eager to dive into her other works.. This book was a fabulous addition to the Speakeasy Taproom series.

I really loved both Rosalie and Preston. I found them to be endearing and interesting and their story captivated me. This book was a one sitting read for me as I could not put it down once I had started it.

I am very excited to read more books that take place in the World of True North and more specifically the Speakeasy Taproom as I know there will be several by a variety of authors coming out soon. This is a relatable place with characters you care for and want to see a happy outcome given to. Ah what bookshelf do I file this under? Damn I loved the blurb. I read a bite on Book Main and basically BEGGED the author for a review copy. So now, how do I cohesively put my thoughts to paper and review the story? I can't. I mean other than - get on this story!!!

I am foremost and unabashedly the reviewer who admits she needs --- no --- REQUIRES hearts, flowers and HEA. No angst in these halls. And damn if Rebecca Norinne check all my boxes. David and Victoria - match made in romance heaven.

What is to love? First off, OMG characters over 25 - WINNING. Then they are smart. Not super intelligent where I don't get the subtle riffs. But smart dialogue. Yep, I fell in love - nope LOVE - with Professor Cockstairs. Oops I mean Carstairs. Both H and h were completely relatable. I mean they met FIRST. Family be damned get on board. But yet, shit, this is real life stuff when dealing with family and OPINIONS. Bull meet china shop. I can't tell you enough. It's entertaining without overplayed humorous scenes. David LOVES Victoria! And as a reader, you can't root or hope for him to win her over to #TeamDavid. I mean Victoria LOVES David but she gets lost in the need to please the people in her life and who hasn't 'been there, done that.' I cannot emphasis how completely entertained I was in for this storyline. It flows and never stalls. Just - time to get your read on romance lovers.

If you've not read Rebecca Norinne, you are in for a treat. Get started on this series! The siblings are going to offer more wonderful dynamic and snappy dialogue to get to their HEA. Standalone? Sure most definitely. But why stop there when more is to be learned...

How did I get here? I read this author's Rocky Cove book 1 ( FAN ) and decided to start going through the backlist. I'm a true blue binge reader like my counterparts who use Netflix. What better way to start working through her backlist than by reading her Hollywood series. Meet Sarah and Cameron.

Let's get this off the list for discussion I loved both characters. Sarah is that curvy girl- looked over - heroine that many of us can relate to. Cameron is that mix of famous but has a good heart and intentions. Yep, those damn intentions. Which left me to yell at one of the characters at one time or another because they just making the wrong decision to right a wrong. What I found wonderful and original was the handling of their final leap of friends to lovers - granted alcohol involved. That they finally... finally get there and Real Life throws a wrench into the plans.

I found the story to engage me because the characters were both relatable - real life feeling individuals. It's hard to admit you actually want more when you aren't sure if the other feels the same. Ms. Norinne pulled off this theme and endear the characters to the reader. Although I may have felt some parts I wanted to hurry up, it didn't detract from the story where I would otherwise skim over it. There is more to be had in books that continue the series. You could stop here and be satisfied. But why stop with a great friends to lovers with a bit of faux romance mixed in.… (lisätietoja)
