This is an absolutely amazing book, dedicat3ed to McGovern who as senator in 1964 tried to pass a bill to set up a National Economic Conversion Bill to switich military spending over to civilian. He failed under the Johnson administration. The appendix is a remarkable table listingcompanies that went abroad in the 1970s, what companies they wend to and which unions were involved.
