Pearl N. Lace

A great concept with excellent potential, partially ruined by sloppy writing. The dialogue is stilted, descriptions tend to be somewhat unimaginative or repetitive (the rules to the game show are explained twice by two different narrators before being explained in detail a third time by the game show's host, Wink), and there are enough continuity errors throughout the story involving the game being played to convince me that the author never bothered to reread their own work after the first draft. Not bad if you can overlook the poor writing and desperate need of an editor, but in the end more disappointing than anything else considering the untapped potential.… (lisätietoja)
