Just a Kiss is a breath of fresh air. The writing style, cast of players and story made me feel like I was walking through each page with the characters. Dealing with a lot of upheaval in her life Sarah decides to make a change and leave all the heartache behind. With a little help from her friends, faith in herself and a sprinkle of romance things are starting to look up. The backdrop of the scenic California coast, close friends that are like family and the prospect of finding true love the Single Girls Wine Club series is off to a good start. I am a sucker for sentimental. I have a tendency to cry at a Hallmark card or a sappy commercial, so Kissing Mr. Mistletoe appealed to me just from reading the blurb. Trace and Monique journey may not be a long one but it is laced with loneliness and heartache. Monique works herself to the bone to provide a life of happiness and security for herself and her daughter. Trace keeps himself busy to drown out the loneliness that has taken hold deep down in his soul. Can a trip home to tie up loose ends provide a new beginning for this duo? I read a number of books and authors in my spare time and for me a winner is a book that touches so deeply that I find it hard to walk away from. Napa Crush serves up the humor but does not hold back on the heart. Who knew one short story could leave such a lasting impression. The Santino boys are easy on the eyes but clueless when it comes to the heart. Kate Kisset, gives readers something to talk about with her huggable characters and lovable stories. The problem is once the party begins, it's hard to stop at just one.
