From my perspective this is one of the best true crime books written. My pupose is to learn about why people choose to murder, what brings them to this option. The author explores the mother's mental health issues and her abusive treatment of her daughter. He explores how this led the daughter to develop her own mental illness and formulate her choices, the ending is surprising. I had feelings of sympathy for the daughter, which does not invalidate her guilt, but it is clear why she made the choices she did. Feelings for both Mom and daughter range from disgust to empathy. The author also explored the boyfriend's mental health, who gains the most sympathy. A train wreck waiting to happen, hopefully one day we can identify and treat mental health issues prior to these tragedies. If you are also inerested in the why, this is a great read.… (lisätietoja)
