It was an interesting read. And it read quickly. A murder mystery and robbery all in one. I enjoyed the character solving the crime. He reminded me a little of Colombo. I think it would make a good series. The cast of characters is intriguing. It was a good read.

I'm going to be completely honest here... by the time I finished the book, I was definitely in over my head. (Not surprising since I failed physics). BUT... what I could handle, I consumed readily. This really makes concepts that I had previously been unable to grasp much more palatable to the mind. Odd as it may be, I had a hard time putting this book down, so intriguing it was. You should probably have at least basic scientific conceptual knowledge to get all that you can out of it, but it's definitely worth the enlightenment even if you don't.

I received an advance review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book is about the Indus Valley Civilization and the study of the script they used with the hope of finding out more about the Indus Valley people, their way of life, and what happened to them. They had built a very advanced civilization that suddenly and mysteriously disappeared without a trace. They used a script of signs and symbols similar to the scripts used by other ancient civilizations. The author gives us examples of the script with comparisons and how it evolved through time. He also includes the meaning of each symbol. The author has done an incredible amount of background research and writes this book with an easy to read fluid style in narrative form. I found this book very informative and recommend it.… (lisätietoja)

I received an advance review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed this murder mystery and recommend reading it. It reminded me of the murder mysteries that I read in my younger days. Minoj solves the mystery and crime in a systematic manner very similar to Hercules Poroit. He is quick witted with intuitive investigative skills. The author paints a wonderful picture of Indian culture and its artistic and archaeological history with a detailed description of the statues and artifacts kept in the museum where the stolen Blue Buccaneer was secretly kept. The plot is captivating and fast moving and held my attention right up until the end. This is one of the best detective stories that I’ve read in awhile.… (lisätietoja)
