I enjoyed reading this, but I'm not necessarily sure about it yet. Poly romance is always interesting in how much character development you can actually produce based on three different POVs, and here we learn about each of their backstories but not really who they are so much. Xaiden, Corbin, and Val fall into the quickest relationship ever it seemed, and I honestly don't know about the timespan here as far as the action taking place. We went full-on dramarama toward the end which ramped everything up, so at least it did keep me reading through to the end. Even though it says standalone, I really had no idea who the other trios were and not sure I cared so am not sure about continuing down this road whether author or series; we'll see.

Peyton and Perry have been best friends for 25 years. Unknown to Perry, Peyton has been pining for him for all that time even though Perry is straight and completely oblivious. He is too busy running the company to notice the underlying feelings.

Enter Dominic, Perry's assistant/secretary. His 2nd job is an exotic dancer where he ends up meeting Peyton and the two hookup. When Perry finds out, he is curious about it and decides to join them. However, after one night, he was instantly hooked like he had been gay his entire life and didn't question anything, which I found to be a bit odd considering.

The relationship between the 3 of them slowly develops but does feel lacking at times and kind of boring in a sense.

Overall, I would rate this a 4 out of 5 for plot. Would definitely read the next one!.
