Complex characters with storied histories and lots of baggage pepper this story from beginning to end. There are twists and connections that may not immediately be expected, but once they are explained they make total sense and are part of spinning together the web that is at the heart of this entire story. The characters are dynamic and easy to connect to, and I found myself lost in the world of this story a little more quickly than I had initially expected. It's a relatively easy and quick read, sure to entertain while pulling at the heartstrings just a bit at the same time. ( )

4.5 stars. My only complaint, and it's nothing major, is that I'm not sure Noah is really ready to move on with Jeremy. Even through the end where he tried to save Billy, it just seemed to me like if Billy said yes I'll give up the life and be with you that Noah would drop Jeremy and be with Billy in a heartbeat, and I think Jeremy deserved better than that. ( )

This was an ok read. Loads of angst and navel gazing about an ex prostitute who's turned his life around and is helping others do the same. Interesting action that requires some suspension of disbelief and plenty of angst if that's your thing. Liked the tension between the main characters and it had plenty of sexy stuff. ( )
