Schade!

Der erste Teil der Serie war sehr gut. Leider gefiel mir der zweite Teil nicht mehr.

Die Welt ist nach wie vor toll - sehr fantasievolles detailliertes Wordl Building.

Doch es passiert kaum etwas!
- die Nebencharaktere sind zu viele und wirken schnittmusterartig,
- viel Gelaber, zu wenig Action
- die Heldin hat starke "not like the other girls" Tendenzen
- dadurch dass die Heldin verheiratet ist, fehlt es an Beziehungsspannung, im ersten Buch wirkte der Alpha wie ein Held, jetzt ist er eher ein sexversessener Idiot, der seiner Frau nicht traut.

Den ersten Band habe ich zweimal gelesen
Dieses Buch habe ich jetzt einmal gelesen und werde es nie wieder lesen.
Beim dritten Band habe ich vorsorglich die Spoiler im Internet gelesen, damit ich gar nicht erst aus Versehen anfange meine Zeit zu verschwenden.

Das ist alles sehr schade denn der erste Band wirst du so unglaublich vielversprechend ( )

I loved this storyline. Some people said that they thought Conall got off easy and that Alexia was weak in taking him back. I disagree. Conall did say publicly and in writing that he was wrong, that he was sorry and that his wife is not to blame. That is HUGE in their society and a massive thing for him personally. It would be the same thing when my husband admits he is wrong and then goes to the store with me to buy me a book I want. And believe me she will have used her subtle ways to let him know in the months after that he really was in the wrong. I know myself...eh..her far too good for that. ( )

Ellos son los únicos que saben lo suficiente sobre los preternaturales para explicar su cada vez más incómoda condición, pero los Templarios pueden ser todavía peor que los vampiros… ¡y además van armados con salsa pesto!

I continue to enjoy this series!

Due to a, um, misunderstanding from the last pages of book 2 Lady and Lord Macoon are not on speaking terms for this book, which means she is not constantly distracted by sexy times and can get shit done. Isn't that always the case?

We delve deeper into the mythology of the preternaturals, werewolves and vampires, and we also go to explore "Europe" (that's how it is put in the book when Alexia decides to leave London ... like London isn't already in Europe?) and see the difference in treatment of the supernaturals. Not everyone is as accepting of them as the UK has been.

Yeah, I keep enjoying this series, and I'm almost sad to only have two books left! ( )
