Seventeen stories in which modern authors of fantasy rewrite Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. From Bruce Holland Rogers' A Common Night, to Janet Asimov's Another Alice Universe, Alice tackles new crises and confronts new dangers.
All in all, this was overall a good selection of stories, with a range of interesting topics. While some stories such as "Epithmalion" could do with improvement, others such as the poignant "The Rabbit Within" were a sheer delight.
A very uneven collection of short stories having to do with Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland books. Some of the stories have Caroll's characters in the modern world, other stories take place in Wonderland. ( )
