I have never been more enchanted by a kid's craft book before opening the pages of this one! It's a perfect book for children of all ages (with adult help when necessary) & for adults who are still young at heart. The book is loaded with crafts & the teacher inside me squeals with delight to see that some crafts require that the child use mathematics. I'm equally as thrilled to see the book loaded with accurate mythology. Witches (the real variety) will appreciate the legitimate mythologies and ideas behind what is presented as entirely make-believe. Those who see it as simple fantasy will appreciate the creative art projects and fun-filled science experiments. There are full-color diagrams and clear how-to instructions on every page. It's inspired me to try every single one of the projects. The child in me will have so much fun & the teacher in me will be prepared if & when I present any of these projects to children in the future. There are a LOT of great ideas! A wonderful crafts book full of interesting things to make, history, and yummy treats! I actually used one of the crafts for a school project and received an A! A very witty book to go along with that Harry Potter collection... be warned though, that some ideas are not best suited for children to do because it will create a mess and stink. It also has some difficult to understand directions, especially for children ( )
