Halusin lukea tämän tutustuttani Hessen kirjaan "Demian". Löysinkin nyt omistamani kirjan lojumasta Kampin metroaseman penkillä täysin hylättynä.
Hessen tyyli ei pettänyt taaskaan ja hän onnistui jälleen kiemurtelemaan sisimpääni "Narkissoksen ja Kultasuun" avulla. Kaikista parasta olivat päähenkilöiden väliset vastakohtaisuudet ja samalla syvät siteet heidän välillään. Jos vain niitä olisi ollut hieman enemmän... ( )
