It was kind of confusing.. impressive by the way some Holden Caulfield's characteristics were retained..
I just didn't like it as much as Catcher in the Rye.. but it wasn't too bad. (

Though it's a truly bizarre concept, the book is worth reading if you're a fan of Catcher in the Rye and its cultural legacy. J.D. California juxtaposes his narrative of an elderly Holden Caulfield against that of Salinger himself. In the end, the writer meets his character and the two reconcile their differences, with the character realizing he is an extension of his creator. (
