I really enjoyed this. It was lots of fun -- a great mix of Jane Austen wit and new zombie violence! I found the zombies to be pretty seamlessly inserted, and the dialog etc is well adapted and pretty true to the source. Amazing how easily zombies can be added! The changes that were made to the original story were well placed, and didn't detract from the essence of the story. ( )

pure fun... I was impressed with the fact that a silly farce could still remind me how much I love the original. I enjoyed browsing the questions in the back and how they generate interest in Jane Austen. I thought this book was a good tool to generate interest in classic literature. Great for teenagers :) ( )

Amusing version of the classic Austen story, where a plague has descended on England, reducing an unknown and unceasing number of people to zombies. The Bennett girls - having trained under the Shaolin monks in China - are defenders of the country against the zombies. Meanwhile, they still have time to flirt with the local militia, meet and fall in love with Mr Bingley and Mr Darcy, and otherwise follow the story of Pride and Prejudice (albeit with a little more fresh brains and vomiting than would normally be encountered) ( )

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was an interesting take on Pride and Prejudice that just didn't live up to the hype.

I was really excited to pick up this book. I had heard nothing but good things about it! Sadly, it didnt live up the hype for myself.

I had thought this book would be written in modern English, but it was identical to Pride and Prejudice. This made the book super boring - I had already read Price and Prejudice, I wanted a cool spin with a new kind of story telling. Sadly, it's just Pride and Prejudice with a splash of zombies. Nothing spectacular.

The writer did do an amazing job of adding zombies into the original story, but this book was not my favourite.

Two out of five stars. ( )

而本書的賣點——殭屍在中期以後就對劇情沒插手的餘地，很難說是好的改編

在腦內把殭屍相關的設定、主角對人頭落地毫無抗拒的性格去掉
我就當作是看完原著啦 ( )
